What A Waste!

Hi!
This week, Lay Reader Andrew brings us the message found in Matthew 13: 1-9; 18-33 :-The Parable of the Sower.

Conservation is the watchword for today, but in Jesus time, waste was not such a big deal. Farmers didn't worry about spilling grain, a certain woman didn't worry about wasting perfume on Jesus, a prodigal son didn't mind wasting his inheritance and so on.

Listen to Andrew as we find out what wastage-then and now-really means!

Kind and generous God, you have planted and watered the seed of your word in us. Use it to produce a rich harvest in us and through us. We ask this through your dear Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
