What A Waste!

Hi!
This week, Lay Reader Andrew brings us the message found in Matthew 13: 1-9; 18-33 :-The Parable of the Sower.

Conservation is the watchword for today, but in Jesus time, waste was not such a big deal. Farmers didn't worry about spilling grain, a certain woman didn't worry about wasting perfume on Jesus, a prodigal son didn't mind wasting his inheritance and so on.

Listen to Andrew as we find out what wastage-then and now-really means!

The Bread of Life.

Hi!
Just what is this odd term, the Bread of Life? In John 6, Jesus refers to himself as the bread of life many times. Many of the disciples could not understand what He meant and so abandoned Him.

A few, however, understood that Jesus had the words of life and so stayed. We, too, try to understand what Jesus said-and many still fall away, unable or unwilling to comprehend.

Join Pastor John as he leads us through this sometimes difficult-to-understand passage.
